Black Ops 4 Teases Zombies Mode in New Trailer! A new trailer for the Zombies mode in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has landed and things are getting bloody. The latest entry in the fan-favorite Zombies mode in the long-running first-person shooter series sees the character of Scarlett Rhodes out to solve her eccentric father’s mysterious disappearance. Along with her three companions she will fight off wave after wave of ravenous undead to uncover a prized relic wielding an otherwordly power. Black Ops 4 will deliver the largest Day One Zombies offering in franchise history with three full experiences at launch titled IX, Voyage of Despair and Blood of the Dead. Fans can expect new characters, deep gameplay and, of course, Easter eggs. Each of the three launch maps feature varying settings and unique aspects. IX is set in Ancient Rome and thrusts the protagonists into a coliseum where ritual sacrifices occur. Voyage of Despair, aptly named, is set aboard the RMS Titanic as the heroes discover the true fate of the ill-fated ocean liner. Blood of the Dead features past characters from the Zombies storyline as they arrive in the purgatory realm of Alcatraz. Zombies will also offer more customizable options than ever before, allowing players to change the fundamental rules and systems of the gameplay experience. The game's difficulty can be adjusted by the player and custom games and custom game modes will be available. Black Ops 4 made waves with two major announcements for the series earlier this year: no main narrative and a new Battle Royale mode called Blackout. The Zombies mode first appeared in the Call of Duty series in 2008's Call of Duty: World at War and quickly became a massive hit with fans. Black Ops 4 is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on Oct. 12.
