Microsoft introduces Windows 10 Editions
So Microsoft has revealed all the editions of Windows 10, scheduled to be released later this year. Most importantly Microsoft has rebranded Windows Phone brand as Windows 10 Mobile.
It is scheduled to hit 190 countries and in 111 languages. Variants of the Windows 10 are - Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Mobile (Windows Phone rebranded), Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 10 Education, Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise and Windows 10 IoT Core.
As per the company blog full versions of Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 Pro as a free and easy upgrade for qualifying Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 devices that upgrade in the first year after launch. Once you upgrade, you have Windows 10 for free on that device.
There's already a lot of buzz around Microsoft's Windows 10 OS. After debacle of Windows 8, Microsoft has been making all out efforts to ensure its new OS is successful. The company plans to improve the OS with “incremental updates” rather launching new OS versions.
