LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - New Characters, Dark Side Choices, PS5 Details & More Revealed!
In this LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga News Update video I talk about how the PS5 version of the game will take advantage of the console’s ultra-fast SSD, allowing for much faster load times. The PS5’s Dualsense, Ray Tracing, and 3D Audio features will NOT be supported at launch. TT Games originally planned to add around 300 playable characters, but altogether, the team ended up making about 800 unique characters, including a playable version of a Wampa, and Babu Frik from The Rise of Skywalker. There are 23 fully explorable planets/moons, with 28 unique locations, including Naboo, Coruscant, Kamino, Geonosis, Utapau, Kashyyyk, Mustafar, Tatooine, Yavin 4, Hoth, Dagobah, Bespin, Endor, Jakku, Starkiller Base, Canto Bight, Crait, and Ajan Kloss. Each planet will be full of different challenges, items, and characters, as well as quests. The game's Datapad tracking system allows players to engage with multiple quests at the same time. Quests are a lot more in-depth, featuring elaborate, and ridiculous quest chains, which feature a heavy presence from Gonk Droids. The Random Encounters System can lead to dogfights between Rebel Soldiers and the Empire, allowing players to choose who they want to help. If intercepted by a Capital Ship, players can fight to disable it, allowing them to board the ship, and discover even more areas to explore inside.
