'I Mean It's Like Being In Heaven:' Longtime Kansas City Chiefs Fan Loving Era Of Winning
Joseph G. Patterson says he has been a Chiefs fan since the team moved to Kansas City in 1963. The Kansas City resident says he’s all in for the Chiefs.
“I’ve been a season ticket holder for for 14 years, got perfect attendance and never missed a game. Never missed a draft day. Never missed a training camp,” Patterson said while tailgating in the parking lot at Arrowhead stadium recently before one of the Chiefs’ preseason games.
Patterson says since Patrick Mahomes joined the team his household has changed. “My wife is buying stuff. The number 15 is all over in my house.”
