F5 BIG-IP HA Configuration Steps
Self-IPs:
Configure self-IPs for communication between devices on VLANs.
Device Trust:
Establish trust between devices using management IPs and admin credentials.
Ensure both devices have valid certificates.
Device Group:
Create a device group (Sync-Failover).
Add both devices to the group and enable automatic sync if required.
Traffic Groups:
Create traffic groups for floating IPs.
Assign relevant floating self-IPs to traffic groups.
Configuration Sync:
Sync the configuration from the primary device to the secondary device.
Verification:
Confirm the HA status, device trust, and traffic group functionality.
Test failover to ensure continuity.
