Cash worth over ₹2.1 crore seized from Chief Engineer's properties in Bhubaneswar
Odisha Vigilance officials on Friday seized unaccounted cash worth over ₹2.1 crore from multiple properties belonging to Baikuntha Nath Sarangi, Chief Engineer (Plan Roads), Rural Works Department, Bhubaneswar. The surprise raids were conducted simultaneously at seven different locations linked to Sarangi in Bhubaneswar, Angul, and Pipili (Puri), following allegations of possession of disproportionate assets (DA) beyond known sources of income.
