Handle Repeat Intent using Interceptors in an Alexa Skill | Skill Templates | Python SDK - DL 257
In this tutorial, we have demonstrated how you can use interceptors to fetch data from each response and pass it to the repeat intent handler using session attributes whenever required. Without using interceptors, we were required to pass both the responses(speech output & reprompt message) as session attributes with each handler function. But now, we can simplify that mechanism using interceptors and reduce the amount of effort required to manage the responses as we only need to define the repeat interceptor once and it will do the rest.
