In this short math video we will learn how to round a decimal to the nearest whole number while answering a standardized math test question. We will begin by identifying the "whole" part of the decimal. We will review the rounding rules - identify the digit to the right of the whole number, if it is less than keep the whole number the same. If the digit to the right of the whole number is 5 or greater, then round the whole number up 1. An exemplar solution is modeled and explained.
