NIOT Director, G A Ramadas On Finding Debris Of Missing IAF AN-32 Aircraft
G A Ramadas, Director, NIOT, has joinedShreya Dhoundial to discuss the mysterious case of an aircraft with registration number K-2743, missing since July 22, 2016, with 29 personnel on board, has been located by the Indian Air Force (IAF) in the Bay of Bengal. The wreckage was found at a depth of 3.4 km, 310 km off the coast of Chennai, through the analysis of images taken by an underwater vehicle deployed by the National Institute of Ocean Technology.
