Animations on Android have often not been straightforward or easy. Now with Jetpack Compose, there are whole, new sets of view concepts and animation APIs to learn and master. How do Compose’s animations compare to the traditional APIs on Android?

In this talk, we’ll give a brief overview of Compose Animation APIs, compare them to those in the traditional View system, with side-by-side comparisons and examples, and discuss how you and your team might transition to using Compose animations.
