Today, we discuss getting started on Labs, the notorious end game map in Escape from Tarkov. Labs has a reputation for being one of the toughest but most rewarding maps in the game, however accusations of death by hackers has always put me off in the past.

With this current wipe coming to a close in patch 0.12, now is the perfect time to get started on the map without worrying about losing gear or getting killed. Given I have never played Labs before despite having nearly a thousand hours in Tarkov, I figured it would be useful to put together a "getting started in labs" guide from my own personal experience of getting used to the map from the perspective of a player learning it from scratch.
