Gus Fring's every waking moment is agonizing pain. But he is awake. Alive. He uses the pain to focus himself on his objective: crushing Walter White, and obtaining the Philosopher's Stone.

It has all been leading to this. It has all gone perfectly. At the hands of Gus Fring, Walter White will suffer.
