You should stop doing your New Year Resolutions. You need to do this instead, according to Science.
When doing new year resolutions, the motivation for you to extrinsic, i.e the freshness the new year brings you. What happens after a week - when that freshness goes away? You'll fail to adopt the created resolutions.
Habit creation should come from intrinsic motivation. It should come from your deep desire for your goal i.e. backed with your life's purpose, or else you'll fail.
You simply can't binge-create habits. Our brain is not hardwired for that.
I would take an alternative route here.
