Java versions are coming out rapidly, while Java 17 is getting released in September, a lot of developers are still working on much older versions - and not aware at all what is coming.
In this short clip, I'll show how you can set up JDK 17 with Docker, and test new features with JShell so you get your own little glimpse of where Java is heading in the future. Additionally, I'll have a taste of sealed classes, one of the upcoming features. And bad jokes. Several very bad jokes. You have been warned.
