Space Age Illustration for Animation Procreate
I made this illustration in a Space Age style about the future. I used this style for an animation. I first drew the layout sketch and then painted the illustration in layers with the Stayf Mary Blair BrushSet. It is a BrushSet with structured brushes to create the Gouache style Mary Blair was famous for. In the late fifties of the last century animation began to change its style to a more graphic style. Led by the animation studio UPA. All of the other animation studios followed.
