Journalist-writer Nuri is born and comes to the city from the countryside after many years. His goal is to sell a garden inherited from his father and return to Istanbul. He meets his old friend Sabri in the city. Sabri is a minor civil servant who has been working as an ordinary officer in a government office for years. The author's reactions are somewhat cold and negative. It is felt that the two old friends were not very happy when they were young. The writer offers to meet him and talk.
