HOW TO MADE WORKING STG-44 STURMGEWEHR FROM LEGO | № 193
In this video, we look at the working model of the German machine STG-44 STURMGEWEHR assembled entirely from LEGO! The model is made by me personally in real scale 1: 1.
StG 44 was developed by the German gunsmith designer Hugo Schmeisser in 1942 under the Maschinenkarabiner 1942 program or the MKb 42! Under the special cartridge 7.92 × 33 mm Kurzpatrone! This cartridge was very similar to the Mauzerovsky, however, it had almost 2 times smaller sleeve! Later this type of ammunition was called - intermediate! Throughout the 2nd World War, there were numerous tests, tests and renames! However, for the happiness of our soldiers and officers, Adolf Hitler was in no hurry to adopt these weapons as he wildly feared the obsolescence of the huge reserves of Mauser carbines and ammunition for them! What is not surprising - because the Mauser KAR-98 was his favorite rifle! According to this, to hide this type of weapon the German designers went
on tactical trick and renamed it to Maschinenpistole MP-43. However, this weapon wasn’t fundamentally right since it had all the characteristics of an assault rifle! In 1944, the Fuhrer issued an order for the final name of this weapon - Sturmgewehr - StG 44, which literally means - “assault rifle of the model of 1944”. The Sturmgewehr was the first mass-produced machine, totaling about 450,000 units including unlicensed copies.
