In the trailer for Brahms: The Boy II, the doll watches as two kids fight over a croquet mallet, only to have one of them fall directly on top of the game's sharp peg.

STX gave us the scene in full, which takes us all the way to the cringe-worthy moment where the peg goes straight through the kid's shoulder. Star Katie Holmes watches on in terror from a window.

In the film, "Unaware of the terrifying history of Heelshire Mansion, a young family moves into the estate, where their young son soon makes an unsettling new friend, an eerily life-like doll he calls Brahms."

William Brent Bell returned to direct the sequel to The Boy that opens in theaters this coming Friday.
