VQ35 Swapped 280Z - built by Z-Fever

This is a beautiful 1978 Datsun 280Z (S30 chassis). It came to us from Louisiana and was shipped to us to perform a VQ35 swap. If you know us at all, we are the VQ swap kings!!!!! We have put VQ's in just about everything.... some of the cars we have installed VQ's into are 240Zs, 280Zs, 280ZXs, Skylines, MGs, MGBs, Triumphs, 300ZXs, 240SXs, 510s, 1200s, DeLoreans, dune buggys, sand rails, and even golf carts...
On this job we used McKinney mounts, Walbro in-line 255 fuel pump, Aeromotive FPR, K&N filter, SPEC stage 3 clutch, JWT aluminum flywheel, etc...
THEN, We custom make our own cold air intake here in-house with a weld-in AFM bung, and our "Fever Racing" logo. We also made custom headers with V-band flanges, a custom 2.5" stainless "Y"-pipe, matted to a custom stainless 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust systems with a stainless 2.5" inlet and dual 2.5" outlet Magnaflow muffler... Gives it a truly throaty growl!!!!

We powder coated the upper plenum sliver and the intake pipes are powder coated with a black texture finish.
If you look at the radiator you can see we cut offf the 280Z's inlet and outlets from the custom aluminum radiator and welded our own on in a position that aligns them with the proper inlet and outlet of the VQ35DE engine. Really cleans up the engine bay.
NOW, we just need to wrap up the a/c and clean up the harness install and some of the vacuum line routing and she will be ready for the dyno....
