Did you know that you can run almost any iPad, iPhone, basically any iOS app you want on your M1-powered Mac? We'll show you how to get started.

Since Cupertino launched Apple Silicon, the M1 chip has not only found its way to their latest Macs, like their MacBooks, iMacs and Mac Minis but also to select iOS powered devices like their iPads. It's only a matter of time until we see them in the next iPhone. But in the interim, Apple has decided to unlock the iOS apps in their app store so that they can run on your M1-powered MacMini, MacBook Air, MacBook, or any of the latest M1 Pro series powered MacBooks too.

Many of your favourite iPhone and iPad apps, even car share apps like EVO in Canada, will run on an M1-powered Mac. But commonly used iOS apps like Netflix, Instagram, and some others, have not allowed for this functionality. For the most part, this experience is still useful and can really add some extra integration to your Apple ecosystem.
