2023 Changan UNI-V iDD in-depth Walkaround

The Changan UNI-V Smart Electric iDD has a starting price of 22,000 USD and boasts an appearance design similar to that of the ordinary fuel version models. Its borderless grille design and three-dimensional rectangle hierarchy give it an exquisite look, while its front surround spoiler adds a strong sporty element. The deep, impactful headlights further enhance its appearance.

Under the hood, the new car comes equipped with the Changan Zhidian iDD system, a Blue Whale 1.5T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 125 kW, and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. The motor has a maximum power of 125 kW and a maximum torque of 330 Nm. The engine is coupled with the Blue Whale six-speed electric drive gearbox and a Xi’an Zhongdi lithium iron phosphate battery.

The car boasts a pure electric cruising range of 113 km and a comprehensive cruising range of 1100 km under NEDC conditions. It has a fuel consumption rate of 4.2L/100km and a comprehensive fuel consumption rate of 0.8L/100km. The Changan UNI-V iDD supports DC fast charging, allowing it to charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. It can accelerate to 100km/h in just 6.5 seconds. Additionally, the new car supports the external discharge function to meet the needs of camping lighting and cooking.

On the body's side, the car adopts a coupe-style body design with hidden door handles. It measures 4680/1838/1435mm in length, width, and height, respectively, and has a wheelbase of 2750mm. The rear of the vehicle features a penetrating headlight design with a polygonal structure, while the rear enclosure boasts a sporty exhaust and an exclusive iDD logo.
