516 Arouca - The largest suspension bridge in the world | Portugal @horizongrid
The 516 Arouca bridge is the largest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world. It is located in Arouca, in the region of Aveiro, next to the notable Paiva Walkways. It is 516 meters long and lies 175 meters above the banks of the Paiva River. When crossing the bridge you can admire the magnificent landscape over the Garganta do Paiva and Cascata das Agueiras, both geosites of the UNESCO Arouca Geopark territory.
