Mumbai will witness a clash of protests. The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance will march from Hutatma Chowk to Gateway of India, protesting the recent collapse of a Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue in Malvan. In response, the BJP will hold a counter-protest against the 'politicisation' of the incident. The MVA’s march, named ‘Jode Maro Andolan,’ faces police restrictions.
