The Gitcoin Passport is used to prove that you are a unique, human user on the ethereum blockchain. It verifies your on-chain activity and identity and then can be used as proof that you aren't a bot or a sybil wallet.

This could be helpful for maximizing airdrops (or at least making sure that your wallets don't get screened out of airdrops).
