The BenQ TK800M works best with a Roku Streaming Stick+ for streaming in 4K HDR.
You can live stream sports in 4K HDR if you have a fuboTV subscription. Or you can tap into Netflix in 4K HDR for movies and TV shows.
The BenQ TK800M came out in 2019 and it’s a follow-up to the popular 2017 projector called the TK800. They are both DLP projectors and pretty much look the same.
if you bought the TK800 a couple years ago, the improvements are probably minor enough that you don’t have to upgrade.
But if you’re someone who is looking for their first 4K HDR projector, you really can’t go wrong with the TK800M. The projector has 3,000 lumens, supports HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma -- also known as HLG.
The projector delivers a super bright picture with 8.3 million pixels on a screen that can go from 60 inches to 200 inches.
Projectors and streaming pretty much go hand in hand these days. But the thing that really makes the TK800M so appealing is that it delivers a bright, beautiful picture, but doesn’t require a lot of tinkering with color accuracy or brightness.
But if you’re someone who prefers to fine tune things like brightness, contrast, and temperature controls -- all of that is pretty simple. You can do it right from the remote control.
