You Should Make Your OWN HTTP Clients for APIs (Shopify x Python)
in this video I look at using inheritance and subclasses with python to create a simple API client class to make requesting data from the shopify API easier. There is a Python SDK for Shopify but I wanted to make my own simpler client I can reuse to grab data from stores. Using "super()" we can inherit from the requests.Session class and add in the few bits we need, to manage the rate limiting and sending the token for each request.
