Correction: 0-255 for RGB Values, and the Redditor uses black and white pixels instead of multicolor so as to make the data less likely to be corrupted due to compression.
This Reddit user made an infinite storage glitch by storing files as YouTube videos. Yes, even files that aren’t videos. Here’s how. Every file at its base consists of some bytes; these bytes can be interpreted as numbers from 0-255, aka RGB values. Since a pixel is defined by 3 of these numbers, you can fit 3 bytes in a pixel. Take all the bytes you can and make a frame of the video, then move on to the next set of bytes and the next frame. Repeat until you’ve used all the bytes. Stitch all the frames into a video, and now you can upload it to YouTube. Infinite storage achieved. Oh, he also wrote all of this in Rust.
