Cisco Audit and Remediation Engine (CARE) is an NSO network compliance
solution, which automates the validation and remediation of DISA STIG vulnerabilities and controls. The goal of CARE is to reduce STIG validation times per device from hours to seconds and greatly reduces staff workload and man-hours during CCRI inspections. Using CARE to automate the identification of vulnerabilities across multiple vendor platforms reduces the time to achieve ATO (Authority to Operate) approval by more rapidly identifying vulnerabilities and recommended fixes, providing continuous compliance of RMF security controls.
