I have recently received a survey request from Harvard Laboratory for Innovation Science and Linux Core Foundation about my open-source contributions. Apparently, they have used the GitHub's API or similar, to discover that I contributed to "lodash" project and set me a survey that goes deep into detail about my major open-source contributions. In this video, you will find me filling the survey and commenting about my answers as a senior software engineer with a decade of contributing to open-source projects. The survey concentrates on following areas:
Open-source contribution frequency and my major projects.
Security in open-source projects.
Work/employer and open-source relationship.
Tools that I use in my open-source work.
