Tragic Verdict: Child Molester Chugs Poison in Courtroom
Edward Leclair, a 57-year-old man found guilty of sexually assaulting a child, made a shocking exit from a Texas courtroom. After the verdict was read, he was seen chugging down a bottle of a toxic substance, sodium nitrite, before collapsing in his holding cell and passing away.
Leclair was accused of raping a girl between the ages of 13 and 17 five times from 2016 to 2018 and was facing five counts of child sexual assault. Prosecutors believe that as the jury deliberated, Leclair, who was out on bond, added the toxic chemical to his water bottle. #shortsfeed
