Popular actress Angelina Jolie found major success with this Disney movie, playing the lead character in 2014. Jolie played a powerful fairy witch who faced betrayal as a child and seeked revenge. However, given the character’s dramatic costume design & makeup, it was difficult for casting directors to cast young children as they were scared easily. So Jolie decided to cast her own daughter, Vivienne, as she would not be scared of her mother. The film was so well received that it spun a sequel in 2019 which grossed a staggering $491million at the box office.
