Colossus is a steel roller coaster located at Thorpe Park, check out this recording breaking roller coaster, the world's first coaster with 10 inversions as it flies round the track.

Colossus is a steel roller coaster that was designed and manufactured by Intamin. Colossus opened to the public on March 22, 2022, it was codenamed Project Odyssey and was Thoepe Parks first major attraction. It is located in an area known as Lost City at Thorpe Park and is one of the park's most popular attractions.

Colossus retained its title of having the most inversions on any roller coaster in the world until The Smiler at Alton Towers took the record in 2013 with 14 Inversions.

Colossus 10 inversions include a vertical loop, a cobra roll, two corkscrews and five heartline rolls. The ride's rough theme is the ruins of a recently unearthed Atlantean civilization. An exact replica of Colossus, called the 10 Inversion Roller Coaster was also built at Chimelong Paradise in Guangzhou, China in 2006..

In 2021, Thorpe park announced plans for a new rollercoaster in the Old Town section of the park, planned to open for the 2024 season, under the project name of Project Exodus. This ride is set to be another record breaker as the tallest ride in the UK

Height restrictions are 1.4 meters (4 ft 7 in) and the ride has a top speed of 44mph, a height of 98ft and of course a total of 10 inversions.

Thorpe Park is a popular theme park located in Surrey, England, known for its thrilling rides and attractions. Owned by Merlin Entertainments, the park has been entertaining visitors since its opening in 1979. Thorpe Park is a great destination for thrill-seekers and families alike.

One of the main draws of Thorpe Park is its impressive collection of thrill rides. From Stealth, one of Europe's fastest and tallest roller coasters, to Saw - The Ride, based on the popular horror movie franchise, the park has something for everyone looking for an adrenaline rush. The park has even been the site of several world record-breaking roller coasters, such as Colossus, which was the world's first ten-inversion coaster.
