VMC to NC2 migration via TGW and VTGW using Nutanix Move 5.3 - quick explanation and demo
In this video we cover a demo and some of the routing and connectivity aspects of migrating from VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC) to Nutanix Cloud Clusters on AWS (NC2). Move 5.3 is used as the migration tool and in this case we leverage VMware Transit Connect (VTGW) peered with a Transit Gateway (TGW) for maximum flexibility in connecting to the VPC to migrate to. Note that the TGW and VTGW incur data transfer charges as well as attachment charges for each attachment.
It is also possible to deploy NC2 in the VMC Connected VPC, in which case data transfer charges will be included in the VMC subscription. This scenario will be covered in a separate video.
