Hiding Youtube Subscribers has its pros and cons. New/Beginner Youtubers usually have a concept that people will move away from their content if they see a low subscribers count on their channel which is not entirely true. My belief is that if your content fulfills the viewer's needs in a good timely manner then hiding/unhiding subscribers won't make any difference.
