Final Cut Pro was updated with an impressive feature — Object Tracking. Apple's flagship video editing application can now use Machine Learning to track the movements of objects in the scene.
It's amazing, as shown in this video — and several other Photics.TV videos. (Have you noticed?) This particular video exhibits Object Tracking with the cute face of Fluffy. This adorable domestic shorthair cat is the star of Photics.TV videos. But with a few well placed speech bubbles, she looks even cuter!
This video is a “How To” on adding face tracking / object tracking to videos edited with Final Cut Pro. It's not a cheap app, but it's a one-time purchase. That's why it was quite nice to see such a powerful feature added to software that I already own.
