During the interrogation scene between Loki and Natasha Romanoff, the God of Mischief taunts the spy asking if she can “wipe out that much red?” He continues by listing certain events that could prevent Natasha from getting a clean slate, one of these being “Dreykov’s daughter.” While it may have seemed a throwaway line at the time, it actually becomes a bigger deal in the MCU in the 2021 movie, Black Widow. It is revealed in the film that in order for Natasha to escape her Red Room past and become an agent of SHIELD she was required to kill Dreykov.
