New Arm CPU is 15% faster than previous generation 👀 - Cortex-X4, Cortex-A720, & Cortex-A520
Arm has launched three new mobile CPUs: the Arm Cortex-X4, the Cortex-A720, and the Cortex-A520. These 64-bit, Armv9.2 CPUs will be used in flagship SoCs by the end of this year and into 2024. A phone with the Cortex-X4 should offer 15% more single-threaded performance than a 2023 smartphone with the Cortex-X3. While the Cortex-A720 and A520 are at least 20% more power efficient.
