Thanks once again to Colin for funding this camera! Something I forgot to mention is that I strongly suspect that this camera actually does most of its processing in-camera, as opposed to simply doing a capture, compress, and stream over USB as most web cams do. I think this is how they're getting such a dramatic improvement despite being USB2 - by actually processing the image like a smartphone does. This likely contributes to the price as well.
