Let's be honest, the 5.4 banners offer a diverse mix of characters, making the selection process a bit challenging. Should you pull for a specific character? Or is skipping the better option?
Let's start with **Mizuki**, the new five-star character that will soon transition to the standard banner. This alone might give you an idea of her value. She isn't a bad character, but she certainly isn't the best to pull for, especially since she will be available in the standard banner later. Additionally, during the anniversary event, you'll have the chance to obtain a free standard character, making pulling for her now less appealing.
Next, we have *Sigewinne**, a character considered relatively weak. While she can work well with **Furina* and become a decent healer for teams, there are many other characters that outperform her in capabilities. For free-to-play players, she isn't an ideal choice, especially with better alternatives available and her lack of synergy with the current meta.
As for *Wriothesley**, his selection might be controversial. Many players were looking forward to his return, but in reality, he isn't the best option right now. As a character relying on the **Cryo* element, he doesn't stand out significantly since this element isn't in its prime at the moment. Even with his decent abilities, other characters outperform him.
Finally, we have *Furina**, who is currently considered one of the best characters in the game. Her abilities provide significant damage and off-field boosts, making her a strong and effective support. However, with the emergence of **Mavuika* in the recent update, who also has boosting and off-field damage capabilities, *Furina* might be slightly less relevant in the current meta. If you've already pulled for *Mavuika**, you might not need **Furina**, but if you haven't, **Furina* remains a strong long-term choice.
