To reduce costs and improve efficiency, sustainability, and design processes, the marine industry needs advanced simulation tools capable of solving complex, unsteady multi-physics problems. In this webinar, we explore the power of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to help the maritime industry overcome major challenges, including complex environmental flows, flow-induced motions, vessel and structure stability, mooring cable dynamics, and propeller cavitation. We demonstrate how CONVERGE CFD software’s state-of-the-art models and features can address those challenges by applying them to a variety of cases: oceanic wind-wave field generation, ship hulls, ship propellers, and floating offshore wind turbines.
