Checking rear differential axle ratio

Here I am demonstrating one way of getting your rear axle ratio if it seems it might have been changed. Using a video and marks on tire and driveshaft makes it simple for one person. When turning only one wheel it takes 2 revolutions to turn the differential carrier/ring gear one revolution. For my 3.73 gears then, 8 revolutions of the one wheel = 4 revolutions of the ring gear. 4 x 3.73 = 14.92 turns of the driveshaft. (I say 15 in the video) I chose that amount because it was close to a whole number so the mark on the druveshaft would end up visible in the video.
