1. Focus on learning the UX design process (e.g., Design Thinking & Double Diamond) instead of Figma, because these processes are timeless, and recruiters will carefully read your design processes before looking into your UI presentations.
2. Make your resume as pretty as possible, because you are applying for a design position. The visual of your resume weighs way more than the content.
3. Do everything by yourself, learn everything online for free. Because you know exactly what you need to learn and you can get a position by just sending resumes.
