Brett Johnson worked at Valve from late 1996 to early 1999, working on, designing and building many memorable sections of the first Half-Life, including the Akira-inspired elevator and canal in Unforeseen Consequences, the dam and cliffside in Surface Tension, and the portal to Nihilanth's lair. The Half-Life section on his archived website and the page about him on the Combine Overwiki go further into his work, with many screenshots. These 3 videos showing pre-release Half-Life content, some of which has never been seen before, were uploaded in July of 2021 to his TikTok account. He has answered a number of questions about the game's development and his influences as well. I own none of this, this video is not monetized, it exists purely for preservation's sake and will be taken down upon request from Brett or Valve Software. If more are uploaded, this video will be removed and I'll add more to the compilation. Oh, and please don't go and bother Brett or anyone else about uploading more, giving out builds etc.
