[4K] Nickelodeon Land at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, join us for a tour of this amazing colourful area featuring 12 rides and attractions based on favourite Nickelodeon characters such as SpongeBob Square Pants, Rugrats and Dora the Explorer.

Nickelodeon Land is a themed area at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Lancashire, England. Blackpool Pleasure Beach manager director Amanda Thompson announced that Blackpool Pleasure Beach would be working with Viacom, owners of the American Nickelodeon brand to open a new Nickelodeon theme park.

Nickelodeon Land opened on 4th May 2011 replacing an area known as Beaver Creek which closed on 5th September 2010. Nickelodeon Land was officially opened by Baywatch and Knight Rider actor David Hasselhoff.

What rides are in Nickelodeon Land?
Blue Flyer, Avatar Airbender, Dora's World Voyage, Rugrats Lost River, The Backyardigans Pirate Treasure, Nickelodeon Streak Coaster, Bikini Bottom Bus Tour, Diego's Rainforest Rescue, Fairy World Taxi Spin, Krusty Krab Order Up, SpongeBob's Splash Bash Paw Patrol Quads, and Wonder Pets Big Circus Bounce

Nickelodeon Land is included in the Blackpool Pleasure Beach park ticket and there is no separate charge for this land or any of the rides

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is an amusement park situated on Blackpool's South Shore, in the county of Lancashire, North West England. The park was founded in 1896 by William Bean and his partner John Outhwaite and has been family owned and operated since. The current managing director is Bean's great-granddaughter Amanda Thompson.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach holds quite a few records, including the largest collection of wooden roller coasters in the UK, the Big Dipper, Blue Flyer, Grand National and Nickelodeon Streak. When it opened in 1994, The Big One or Pepsi Max Big One as it is also known was the tallest roller coaster in the world. It was also the steepest, with an incline angle of 65° and the second fastest with a top speed of 74 miles per hour.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is also home to Nickelodeon Land, the world's oldest Ghost Train and the world's only Wallace & Gromit ride, the Thrill-O-Matic. In 2015 the park introduced Red Arrows Sky Force, a Gerstlauer Sky Fly thrill ride which is the first ride of its kind in the UK
