Flashing your motherboard BIOS might seem like a scary procedure by itself, so I wouldn't be surprised if many of you wouldn't let the option of flashing a different one cross your mind, BUT: gains are there to be made.
Now let me tell you: this is not gonna be needed if you have an Asus, MSI, Gigabyte or Asrock board since they update even their older mobos regularly. However, if you have a less known brand one like this Colorful B450 board, they might have stopped support completely, so the difference will be massive.
In this case, not only did we allow a non compatible Ryzen to work, but we also dramatically extended RAM compatibility! And all that without the need to use a CH341A programmer: we did it all via Afuwin in windows!
