⭕With the help of the infrastructure as code tool Terraform, you can specify both cloud and on-premises resources in configuration files that can be reused, shared, and versioned.

✳️Terraform is your best choice if you want to provision services across several cloud platforms. While CloudFormation is limited to AWS, Terraform supports all cloud suppliers including AWS, GCP, Azure, and many others. Therefore, Cloudformation is not for you if your setup includes numerous cloud deployments.

✳️It offer the best user-friendliness/features ratio. Because it is declarative and platform-neutral, it may be used in any supported environment without being vendor-locked or requiring new platform-specific tools to be learned.

✳️Infrastructure: mutable vs. immutable
After the software has been deployed, mutable infrastructures permit routine updates and changes, but immutable infrastructures do not permit changes.
