📎Here’s how to create distressed text in Photoshop!
Go to Filter, Distort, Ripple.
Set the amount to 80%.
Now, go to Blur Gallery, Field Blur.
Add some blur points where they look the best.
Duplicate your layer, select your layer and the background together by holding shift, and convert them to a smart object.
Go to Filter Gallery and add Torn Edges and Glass effects to the layer copy.
Add a texture and choose Multiply blending mode.
Add another texture, reduce its opacity and switch the blending mode to color burn.
Your distressed text effect is ready!
