In this video, I share my experience of upgrading my laptop's RAM from 8GB to 16GB by purchasing an 8GB module from AliExpress, my go-to online store since 2014.
I'll take you through the installation process and the unexpected issues I encountered. After the RAM upgrade, my laptop initially worked fine, but it soon began freezing and experiencing fan speed issues. I couldn't power it off with keyboard shortcuts, and the only solution was to force a shutdown using the power button.
After weeks of frustration, I decided to remove the original RAM, leaving only the AliExpress module, which resulted in my laptop's inability to boot. I contacted AliExpress, and they asked me to create this video to share my experience. It turns out the RAM I purchased was not compatible with my laptop.
