Effects done on a DVD Rip of the movie Volcano with Sony Vegas 10 and plugins for Sony Vegas 14 vs the same movie on home video tape format recorded via tuner card and Grex Video Stabilizer. The fakes were pre-rendered at 720p resolution, and the VHS rip was of the highest quality I could muster on the poor turner card.

So, which should I use as a decent VHS effect for furture things? Overlays, Green Screen effects, or Plugins?
