Media Ownership Diversity Symposium
The FCC’s Communications Equity and Diversity Council (CEDC) hosted this symposium. The goal of this full-day symposium, “Expanding Digital and Media Ownership Opportunities for Women and Minorities,” was to explore the challenges as well as possible creative solutions to increasing ownership opportunities for women and people of color to achieve success and viewpoint diversity in all facets of media – TV, radio, cable, and streaming. This meeting was open to the public on February 7, 2023 at FCC headquarters and on the Internet via live feed from the FCC’s web page at www.fcc.gov/live and on the FCC’s YouTube channel.
